My journey began in the world of weddings almost ELEVEN years ago! I literally knew nothing about running a business, nothing about building a team of planners, or how to properly plan weddings! I threw caution to the wind, and I jumped all in!   Because after all, I had a dream, and just like you, I read all the blogs telling me DO THAT THANG! So, I did-

We all know how this started....R-O-C-K-Y!

 

I was eyebrow deep in building websites, networking (Boy, did I network my butt off), and trying to put together my planning process all the while finding the right accountant, contract, CRM, and create my social media. It was so much!   If I could tell myself one thing, based on what I know now, I'd tell the young and naive entrepreneur to get a MENTOR and get EDUCATION because the hours and hours I would spend doing it WRONG would catch up with me!

One thing I learned early on, PROCESSES matter! I could have the best website and the best connections but if my client experience was lacking, the planner-client relationship was not great! Other planners were offering the bells and whistles (planning guides, templates, boards) while I was keeping track of details through a WORD DOC...I'm being vulnerable and honest here.

Fast forward to 2025, I have built TWO successful and thriving businesses based on my motto:

​

"SIMPLIFY THE PROCESS. ELEVATE THE CLIENT EXPERIENCE"

 

And I would probably add "without bankrupting the business!" 

​

I've come a long way from my days of multiple word docs. I now use PROVEN TOOLS within our businesses that keep me on track, our clients on track, while allowing more time for the things I love: MY FAMILY!
